METRO Minex 3.5 is a small, flexible and compact through-flow heater that heats the tap water as it is drawn. The capacity is sufficient for a single tapping point and heats the water to a temperature depending on the water flow and incoming temperature. The lower the flow, the higher the heating capacity.

Is the hot water enough for a shower?
No. METRO Minex 3.5 is suitable for the individual tapping point. The principle of the product is that the flow controls the hot water temperature, therefore we particularly recommend reviewing "Max temperature at flow" under technical information.
Minex heats the water used by adding a temperature rise to the incoming water. This means that the hot water temperature is dependent on the water flow, the lower the flow, the higher the hot water temperature according to. following:

2 l/min - 25 °C
2.5 l/min - 20 °C
3 l/min - 17 °C
3.5 l/min - < 15 °C
Minex has an output of 3.5 kW and is connected with a 1-phase electrical installation against a 16 A fuse and has three different setting modes for adjusting the output. In addition, the flow can also be turned down to raise the hot water temperature. The minimum flow is 1.2 litres/minute and the maximum incoming water temperature is 60°C and the product is intended for pressurized systems up to 10 bar, which means that standard mixers can be used.
