METRO Agriculture 300 E

This boiler supplies industries with really hot tap water. It is suitable for a farm to, for example, clean milk facilities.
METRO Lantbruk 300 E is in the same 60x60 module format as METRO Modul, which with adjustable feet can be easily positioned even on uneven surfaces. The volume is approximately 288 liters and the efficient electric cartridge means that the brewer recovers quickly after a bottling. The well-measured insulation ensures that the heat energy stays in the boiler and prevents energy losses.
The water tank is protected by a glass-enamelled steel and has indirect heating, which provides durable and long-lasting protection against corrosion. This makes this model particularly popular and suitable in, for example, Öland, Gotland, Österlen, Uppsala, Norrtälje and in households with their own well where the water is often calcareous and can have a high chloride content.
Higher water temperatures increase the risk of lime precipitation, but METRO agriculture 300 E is less sensitive to too much lime due to its indirect heating. Therefore, this model is more suitable for higher temperatures than other models. This is a reliable and powerful generator for floor-standing assembly. If the hot water demand is greater than the volume of the water heater, we recommend series connection for the best energy efficiency. The well-sized connection space makes the generator appreciated by installers and service personnel. The METRO Lantbruk series has a thermostat that allows temperatures up to 88 °C and a special pipe set for hot water withdrawal.
The water heater is delivered with a complete fitting set with safety valve, mixing valve and shut-off valve. The 3 kW electric cartridge is mounted in a protective tube, which makes the boiler less sensitive to limescale formation. For maximum effect, the connection cable of 1.5 meters is adapted for fixed electrical installation against 2-phase. But it can also be connected to 1-phase with a plug.
Metro Therm's enamelled water heater can be used for the vast majority of water types. The enamelled pressure vessel steel is extra resistant to corrosion attack and is particularly suitable for water with high hardness and high chloride content. The chloride content should not exceed 250 mg Cl/l and the pH value should be between 6 and 9 for the corrosion protection to work effectively for as long as possible. The appliance's enamel is protected by a magnesium anode which should be checked every two years and possibly replaced if necessary. In case of particularly high or low chloride or manganese levels in the water, we recommend replacing the magnesium anode with an electric titanium anode.
For water types with a high pH value, we recommend stainless steel heaters from the Metro Therm or Focus range.
